Children's Meeting for Gaza

The Palestine Initiative, "Children's Meeting for Gaza" at the Büyük Çamlıca Mosque, 1071 Congress and Event Hall, was attended by many children and their families.

The program, which began with the reading of the Quran by Hafiz Mehmet Kerem Keskin, one of the children attending the event, included prayers for the soldiers who were martyred in the Claw-Lock Operation region and those who lost their lives in Gaza.

Ayşe Seher Likoğlu, who spoke on behalf of the children at the program, wished God's mercy on the martyred soldiers and a speedy recovery to the wounded, and said, "We, the children, are praying for each of our soldiers who are currently defending us to return victoriously."

Likoğlu, who emphasized that Palestinians come to mind while these are happening in Türkiye, stated that babies, children and parents are trying to survive while their homes have been destroyed, they are left in the cold and their food and drinks have been taken away from them.

Likoğlu noted that on one side there are oppressors who watch and support this oppression, and on the other side there are beautiful people who oppose the oppression, organize demonstrations and come together, and that their side is on the side of justice, humanity and truth.

- "We will come together in a free Palestine soon, God willing"

Likoğlu stated that they will continue their struggle until evil, injustice and oppression end, and spoke as follows:

"We will not forget that every step is important while waging this struggle. We will call on everyone to support our struggle. We know that our struggle will end in victory. Because evil is always defeated. The good who come together, unite their strength, pray and make an effort always win. The good who do not forget, do not get used to, do not neglect always win. For this reason, we will also come together, pray, make an effort, we will not forget, do not get used to, do not neglect and God willing, we will come together in a free Palestine soon."

In the program, digital content producer Sertaç Güngör, known as "Sertaç Abi", gave advice to children to support Palestinians. Author Merve Gülcemal also told children stories about Palestine.

As part of the event, children painted the posters at the entrance of the hall that read "Martyrs do not die, the homeland will not be divided" and "Free Palestine". The painted posters were displayed inside the Büyük Çamlıca Mosque after the program.
